Position: ERP Project Manager
Compensation: Salary - up to 160K
Location: Roseland based -Client Travel up to 75%
Our client is one of the Nation's leading Accounting & Advisory firms with over 2500
employees. The Advisory division helps organizations address many different challenges resulting from growth, economic issues, opportunities or crises. These could include Technology, M&A, Data Analytics and Process Engineering projects as well as restructuring, compliance and valuations. TRAVEL OF UP TO 75% is required.
Summary:
Working with clients, manage overall coordination of client IT projects, from planning through implementation
Set project scope, priorities, deadlines and deliverable schedules
Facilitate discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders such as key business users, project sponsors, and developers
Manage and monitor project budgets and expenditures
Develop forecasts for estimate of completion (based on project performance)
Responsibilities:
Organize and run steering committee meetings to provide management oversight & guidance to project team.
Conduct resource requirements analysis and scheduling, including estimated project work effort for both client and consulting resources; Create project charters and project plans
Direct and guide business, technical and 3rd party solution provider resources.
Monitor project activities ensuring the quality and integrity of the information and perform status reporting
Record impacts from any changes during the project
Coordinate the issue escalation process for making business and monetary decisions, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.
Advise on areas of scope, phase management, and technical architecture that may need additional resources.
Identify any areas in which changes to the plan are required, obtain acceptance by client and close the project
Conduct post-project review and document lessons learned
Knowledge transfer and mentor client assigned project leads for them to become self-sufficient.
Communicate project updates including status, risks, issues, and escalations.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing ERP systems with specific experience in Infor, Oracle, SAP and/or JD Edwards.
Industry experience necessary in manufacturing, distribution, consumer packaged goods or supply chain
Experience with implementation of financial systems and/or process improvement in finance departments
Ability to apply the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide and Standards to intricate, multifaceted projects
Must have superb communication and interpersonal skills with experience collaborating and making project presentations to client development teams, client and internal executives or boards of directors
Experience with project management tracking programs including Microsoft Project 2010 or 2013
Education and Certifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline
Project Management Institute certifications such as Professional Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Process Improvement designations such as Six Sigma, ISO, etc. a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
