Sr. Performance Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Sr.
Performance Engineer.
Develop performance testing scripts and scenarios and performance monitoring strategy for critical web based applications We are seeking a performance engineer to conduct performance testing for a critical web-based Time Management product.
The Performance Engineer will focus on developing performance tests that simulate complex production load patterns and analyzing the test results to come up with capacity and sizing suggestions.
Responsibilities:
o Provide accurate scoping, clear strategies, and milestones for performance tests o Communicate status, risks to test complete dates, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects to cross functional team s o Participate in discussions and planning with Development o Design and implement overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools o Setup necessary monitoring strategy for the application performance Experience/Skills Required:
o 3
years of benchmark testing, performance analysis using industry standard benchmarks o BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience o Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills o Ability to analyze / interpret technical data o Ability to identify / resolve system bottlenecks o Ability to identify potential limitations in software architectures o Ability to write clear and concise technical documents o Troubleshooting and reasoning skills o Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization o Deep hand-on knowledge of HP LoadRunner o Experience with performance and infrastructure monitoring tools (e.
g.
SiteScope, CA Wily Introscope, BPM, etc.
) is a big plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
