POSITION
Summary:
The ADP Global Procurement Buyer will play an integral role within the ADP Global Procurement organization working independently and collaboratively with cross functional Procurement, Sourcing and Accounting teams to ensure procurement process compliance and proper vendor management.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Responsible for the vendor and catalog management of their assigned commodity product lines.
Reviews requisitions and recommends alternate suppliers where a savings or improved performance will be provided.
Assists and participates in special projects and strategic sourcing initiatives assigned by Director.
Work closely with Sourcing Team and Suppliers to become proficient in the buying and e-sourcing process for a variety of suppliers and commodities.
Supports Supplier Diversity Program.
Negotiates with suppliers to obtain best value for ADP.
Answers customer inquiries and resolves customer concerns.
Generates reporting weekly/monthly and on demand as required.
Document, track, and report on critical issues, process improvements and timely resolutions.

Experience
Buyer is expected to hold themselves accountable for performance and deadlines; convey a professional presence, clearly communicate, identify day to day problems and work cooperatively with others to achieve goals
1 to 3 years of customer service experience is required.
1 to 3 years of accounting/or procurement experience is preferred.
e-Purchasing Systems/Tools knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of business/contract issues and a good understanding of competitive product/services, technology and industry issues is a plus.
General knowledge of administrative (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.) software required.
General knowledge of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Sharepoint, and Microsoft LiveMeeting is desired.

Strong analytical, problem solving and & decision making skills.
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong Customer Service skills Must demonstrate flexibility and tolerance of changing business environments.
Must have the ability to handle multiple projects.
