In this role, you will responsible for working closely with your business counterparts driving requirements through the SDLC process as well as having technical ownership of Maximo consisting of User and System Support and development activities.
This position can be remote and will require 10%-15% of travel to Roseland, NJ or various manufacturing facilities as projects dictate.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
5-7 years of experience in Information Technology
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to travel 10%-15%
Maximo Skills:
5 years of overall Maximo experience with 2 or more years working with Maximo 7.x
Strong understanding of Maximo business objects and database tables, especially in Supply Chain functions
Ability to install Maximo,perform Maximo upgrades and apply Patches or Hot Fixes
Ability to perform screen changes via Application Designer and/or XML
Ability to perform table and column modifications via Database Configuration
Ability to design new and modify existing workflows via Workflow Designer
Ability to create new and debug existing Escalations
Knowledge of Cron Tasks
Strong knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
Ability to modify and/or create new BIRT Reports
Ability to modify and/or create new Start Centers
Strong working knowledge of TRM Rules Manager
Ability to extend Maximo business object functionality and integration logic (Java)
Knowledge of LDAP authentication (BASIC and FORM)
Knowledge of Single Sign On
Knowledge of Email Listener using IMAP mailbox
Working knowledge of SAP and/or SAP Adapter
Working knowledge of AKWIRE Planning/Scheduling tool
Knowledge of SoapUI
Database Skills:
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server development
Ability to create and understand complex SQL Queries including multiple joins and/or nested queries
Ability to optimize queries (and add/modify indexes) using SQL Server analysis tools
Ability to create and/or update stored procedures
Ability to create and/or update triggers
Knowledge of SQL Server Administration
Middleware Skills:
Strong knowledge of WebSphere Application Server configuration and administration
Ability to perform WebSphere and IHS upgrades
Ability to diagnose errors based on log information
Knowledge on WebSphere clusters
Knowledge on Java Message Service (JMS) and how it relates to Maximo
Ability to diagnose Maximo performance issues such as high CPU, slow performance, and JVM crashes
Knowledge of command-line administration using wsadmin (Jython or Jacl)
Other Desired Skills:
Strong problem determination and problem solving skills including workstation, network, and general technical knowledge
Ability to work independently with little to no oversight
Ability to analyze business requirements and problems and translate into well-defined solutions and technical requirements
Ability to explain complex technical functionality to business users in clear and simple terms
Ability to lead customer workshops, testing sessions, and demonstrations
Knowledge and experience with a source control product
Knowledge of Eclipse as a development environment
Ability to document requirements and source code as well as develop business test plans
WebMethods or other application integration software
