Infrastructure Engineer Roseland, NJ, and Alpharetta, GA () Lead the development of innovative network security solutions and tools from concept to delivery with a focus on new technologies, particularly Cloud-based solutions (SASE, SWG, firewall, ZTNA), SD-WAN, SDN, and automation Support adoption of new technologies and tools, recommend capability improvements and assist in lab/QA deployments for technology trials Participate in all facets of requirements gathering, prioritization, design, development, testing, and execution of network engineering and security requests Work closely with senior IT and business leaders to align IT activities with business objectives Build strong cross-organizational relationships; effectively work with staff across the IT organization and the broader enterprise to align the network security technologies with overall organization needs Liaise with vendors and service providers to identify and select the products or services that best support the organization s global network strategies Provide network performance and capacity guidance by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends Identify emerging security solutions and in coordination with Global Security, evaluate products Regularly communicate the status of network security initiatives to IT leadership and internal business partners Be a mentor to other team members and lead through example by influencing the use of standards defined by the team and technical leadership Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of Network Security work experience in Architecture, Design and Engineering Experience in recommending, designing, implementing, maintaining, state-of-the-art network hardware and software systems Network & Infrastructure experience specific to large-size organizations (5,000 employee minimum) Experience with virtual network environments, data and WAN networking technologies (including SD-WAN), and network security technologies from providers including Zscaler, Palo Alto, Symantec (Blue Coat), and Cisco Ability to be flexible, decision-oriented, and motivated to support management initiatives Demonstrate a consultative approach to strategic decisions with a particular emphasis on design and delivery Hands-on experience in designing and deploying large-scale network security technologies Prior experience in multi-vendor networking technologies Must be proficient in network architecture and design, network security, and network monitoring Strong documentation and communication skills Strong foundation in dynamic routing protocols (i.
e EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) Experience working with highly effective engineering teams through major technology transitions Experience working in complex network environments with legacy systems Preferred:
Current or held advanced network or security-related certifications (e.
g.
, Cisco, Arista, CISSP, or relevant industry certification, etc.
) BS/BA degree in a related discipline strongly preferred (i.
e Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical degree) Experience or background with automation using Ansible and/or Python Prior experience working on network segmentation projects Experience with packet analysis and flow monitoring tools Experience with cloud deployments such as Google Cloud Platform and AWS Strong knowledge of Network Access Control systems, preferably Forescout.
