Dental Insurance Coordinator

Insurance specialists are expected to be well organized, detailed oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on strict deadlines.
Dental Billing or Medical Billing would be a PLUS but not required.
Essential Duties Basic introduction of Open Dental Basic introduction of dentistry Basic Introduction to insurance's Learn basic introduction about the company (who we are) and all the specialists we have Understanding our schedule (colors and codes) Customer Service (over the phone) Be able to multi-task and ask questions Checking and understanding insurances Checking and understanding the schedule Can book and confirm appointment correctly Intro to Preds for GP/Pedo Run reports/check schedule to catch any missed PRE-D codes for Pedo/GP Submit all preds needed in a timely manner for Pedo/GP Check DentalXChange to correct any errors and pred is sent to insurances Check approvals, scan them into patients' charts, call to schedule them Follow directions and work well with fellow team members and management Accepts constructive criticism with positive attitude Always put patients' needs first Maintain a level of professionalism as a representative of Child Smile Group Organization and Smiles 4 Keeps.
Office location:
Roseland NJ (In office position- NOT REMOTE) We work 2 Saturdays a month from 8-2, a weekday given off Medical Package Medical/ Dental/ Vision PTO and 401K Benefits 401K matching Starting pay $17 or MORE ( based on Medical Billing Experience) PLUS Incentive Bonus after 1st evaluation.
