Job Description:
The Line Lead is responsible for the verification and checking of in progress and finished product produced in a room.
Decision making environment responsible for verifying approved or rejected product, under the direction of the Production Line Manager.
ROLES &
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Must follow all GMP's and relevant SOP's.
Responsible to follow OSHA safety guidelines.
Visually checking all products for quality.
Ensuring Lot and Expiry Date is clearly and correctly printed.
Product is properly formed and sealed.
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the working area.
Must operate the machine following all safety procedures.
Assists with emptying the machine when the machine is stopped for adjustments.
Assists with rework.
Responsible to clean at the appropriate level at the end of the shift.
Responsible to clean at the appropriate level during changeovers.
Nonessential Functions/Demands:
All other duties as assigned by Line Lead Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years packaging experience.
Attention to detail.
Adequate reading skills.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift-up to 5 pounds frequently and 40 pounds on occasion.
Must be able to remain in the stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to walk or stand up to 90% of the time.
The person in this position is sometimes required to function in narrow aisles or passageways while walking throughout the production area.
The person in this position will need to occasionally kneel, climb, crawl, climb and/or reach to complete their job duties.
