Roseland, NJ - Lumen Legal is working with a corporate client who is in need of an experienced technology transaction attorney for a direct hire position. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated technology contracts, including: software licensing agreements, outsourcing agreements (BPO and IT), Software as a Service Agreements, service agreements (consulting, software development and support
services
), hardware acquisitions, transition services agreements, and other technology related agreements. Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
Candidates must be actively licensed to practice in good standing in at least 1 U.S. jurisdiction in order to be considered. Those not licensed in
new jersey
must be willing and able to obtain a New Jersey Corporate license. Preference will be given to those with in-house and/or large law firm experience. This position requires full time hours and all work will be completed on-site at the client's Roseland, NJ office. The client is offering a competitive salary and significant bonus opportunities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
